Obituary

Richard "Rick" Quattrucci, 54, of Pawtucket, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Son of Judith (Gray) Quattrucci of Stoughton and the late Louis J. Quattrucci, he was born in Boston on October 7, 1963 and raised in Stoughton. Rick graduated from Stoughton High School in 1982, where he was a varsity athlete in both basketball and football. Throughout his life he continued to be an avid sports fan. Rick served in the U.S. Army for over 22 years before retiring in 2008. During his time in the Army, he received his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. He earned many medals during his service, including the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal. In addition to this, he was proud to be an Army Jumpmaster.

Since retiring from the military, Rick resided in Pawtucket. While residing there, he wrote a book about the history of Pawtucket's Greene & Daniels Manufacturing Company. He enjoyed collecting antiques and spending time at the ocean, however Rick's greatest joy was spending time with his family and his dog, Sophie.

In addition to his mother, Rick is survived by his children: Richard T. Quattrucci of Miami, FL and Matthew L. Quattrucci and Michaela S. Quattrucci both of Mashpee. He was the brother of Louis J. Quattrucci, Jr., William E. Quattrucci and James Quattrucci all of Scituate. He will be leaving behind his ex-wife Kimberly (de'Martin) Quattrucci of 22 years, as well as his companion Kim "Grace" Barron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held from the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Monday, August 27 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday, August 26 from 3-6 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or DV Farm (Combating Veteran Homelessness) 14 Whitney Stage Road, Gilsum, NH 03448.
