"I wish to extend to Arthur's family and many friends my sincerest sympathies - His is a great loss. I first met "Tiger" in Kindergarten; played basketball and street hockey with him at the Jones School and Leach Street; and walked to high school from time to time - occasionally joking about Libby, Montana. Years later, my father, a dialysis patient, told me an old friend said hello. I asked who it was and he replied "Bishop." I turned around and went to say hello .. It was nice to catch up. He was amazing to my dad -very attentive, compassionate, and kind. In my time with Arthur, i saw many very admirable components of his character and it was always nice bumping into him and having little golf and football chats. It's so sad to lose people of Arthur's quality of character because they are in short supply. May God Bless Arthur and his family and many friends, and may He show us His infinite Mercy by letting us find comfort in each other. RIP, Arthur, i can never thank you enough for the kindness you showed to my dad, however, i will ever remember it throughout my days"
"My thoughts and prayers are with ALL of the Bishop family at this very sad time. I first knew Tiger when we became connected through the SFD. He was always super kind, considerate and a fun guy to be around especially as we grew through our years at SHS and were part of the Black Knights class of '83.
I hope your kind memories warm your hearts at this difficult time.
