"Mr. Clark was my English teacher in 1978. Here was such a great guy. He knew how to reach his students with his humor, wit, kindness and understanding. Even though his class was on the 3rd floor I would run up those stairs hoping not to miss anything. Jim always had a smile to share or time to give. Kinda like Mr. Kotter on the TV show, Welcome back Mr. Kotter. You will be missed, always loved and most of all remembered. ❤♀ With love,Mary Gallagher Sisinni"

"Dear Jim,
so very sad to hear of your passing. I have fond memories of you, your dad, mom and sister, when I worked at the Stoughton Co-operative Bank!
May you rest in the sweetest peace, you sure deserve it.
Sending my best to your family and the many friends you have.
Maria"

"Mr.Clark was a teacher who treated the students with the utmost respect and drew the very best from each one. For our family he guided, counciled, cajoled and filled them with confidence to improve. There are no greater words than to say thank you. The Landrys"

"Jim was one of the first high school teachers that I became acquainted with when I first came to Stoughton three decades ago. I value and appreciate the many conversations we had over the years. He was a learned man who shared his knowledge, insights, humor, and wisdom with others. Whether it was a discussion relating to literature, history, politics, sports, current events, or the art of teaching, I always came away from each conversation with another book to read or movie to watch upon Jim's recommendation. I will surely miss those conversations. Rest peacefully, Jim."
