Condolence & Memory Journal

I was so very fortunate to sit beside Henry while visiting the Stoughton Lions Club last fall and renewed our friendship of many years ago as Past Presidents. Henry was the most sincere person I have ever known as a business man, personal friend or caring for others. As I was leaving, we hugged and Henry said "We lived the best years and I'm ready to go anytime now". I replied "be right behind you, my Friend" and he said "not too soon, you have a lot to do yet".

A wonderful man that Stoughton was truly blessed to have!! STOYAC would not exist if it wasn't for the vision and generosity of Henry Rogers!! He worked so hard for all the youth of Stoughton and taught many the wonderful values to cherish through the world of sports!! If we were still making bronze statues,he is more than deserving to have one made of him!!! I Love You Mr. Rogers!!!

Uncle Sonny will be missed by all of his nieces and nephews. My sincere sympathy to all of his family. I have many fond memories of the Rogers family gatherings. Your Dad always had a great smile and a kind word. I worked in his first bakery for the first few weeks of its openings. We all appreciated the wonderful wedding cakes that he gave to each of us. Hold onto your happy memories and know that he will always be with you in Spirit. Love and blessings, Janet Herron, Mt Pleasant, SC

I have so many memories of your Dad... we were so blessed that your Mom
and your Dad kept the Kelleher Family very close long after my Dad was gone.
There are memories but the bond created between our families is undeniably a treasure I hold very, very close in my heart.
Love and hugs to all of you.
See you soon.
