My great-uncle whom I only met on two occasions, but who struck me as a genuinely kind and honorable man. When I was a kid, he carved me a wooden Dumbo the elephant rocking horse. A veteran who proudly served his country... RIP Great Uncle Joe

Mary, Sorry for your loss of your husband Joe. I did not have the pleasure of knowing him personally. But, your Grandson Steve always speaks highly of him. You will keep the wonderful memories you both shared in your heart forever. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family. Sincerely, Carole Fielding

I have known Joe or Mr. Howard for a long time. It was always a pleasure to be in his company. The last time we chatted in length was at his well attended 90th birthday celebration at the American Legion in Canton. It was such a good time and I was so happy to have been included. Such a gentleman, good guy and always a smile. I'll miss him too. Our thoughts are with him and his family.

When we look to Jesus in difficult times, we find His peace. His love Is sufficient. Uncle Joe will be greatly missed but his warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered forever.
