Thank you for your support during this difficult time. Please enhance this tribute to Joe by adding your memories and photos.

Jose "Joe" Cabral, 87, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Copley Nursing Home in Stoughton on Monday, January 13, 2020. Son of the late Manuel J. and Eugenia (Reis) Cabral, he was born and raised in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal. As a young man, he came to the United States and settled in Stoughton. Joe was the owner and manager of the Stoughton Diner for many years before retiring. Almost everyone in Stoughton and beyond knew Joe from the diner, for the tireless hours of work he put in to make it a success. Joe is survived by his children, Jennifer Cabral of Florida and Jeffrey Cabral and his wife Teresa of Stoughton, as well as his grandchildren, Jeffrey Cabral and his wife Christine, Daniel Cabral and his wife Vanessa and Nathanial Cabral and his great-grandchildren, Mason and Alexandra Cabral. He was the brother of Amaro Cabral of Stoughton, Antonio Cabral and Helena Reis both of Portugal and John Cabral of Canada. Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, January 21 at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 9:30-10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
