Condolence & Memory Journal

I cannot believe you left us so abruptly. I hope you can hug Burt for all of us. I am glad you two are together.
Father and Son together in heaven, ah we should be so lucky.
We will meet you when our time is done.

I know, you know, but I wanted to tell you, we miss you both dearly today and everyday,
Clearly this world is better for what you both have done.
I wanted to thank you for all the time you took to share yourself and make our lives better.
You are my rock and you rock, tick-tock. Your time is done, but you son-of-a-gun,
You left your mark on me and my family, so all I can do is remember you dearly.

Loving Husband, Faithful Father, shining Son, a brother, a cousin, an Uncle, a Neighbor, a grandfather, a dear, dear friend right to the end. Your smile lit up the room and put people at ease. Thank you Burt for being all you could be. Rest well in peace, as our hearts swell thinking of you, missing you and loving you. I hope you can tell we will never be the same not saying your name, we love you. Sweet rest as we confess our love for you. Burt you were the best, and we were blessed for your time with us, we will never forget you. We love you, you're the best, you're the best, Sweet Burt now rest.

Sorry for your loss. Sharing this in your time of sorrow, "The pain of grief is just as much part of life as the joy of love: it is perhaps the price we pay for love, the cost of commitment."
Dr. Colin Murray Parkes hugs of comfort.
