Gordie was a friendly spirit as I knew him at Xaverian Brothers High School. He knew how to make anyone laugh even if they were a complete stranger. My condolences to his family, friends, and XBHS alumni. RIP Gordie.

I was saddened to hear of Gordie's passing. I can still picture his smiling and somewhat mischievous 5 year old face. A great kid. My thoughts and prayers are with you Elaine.

One of the few universally liked people I have ever met. Gordie always made people laugh, he was such an upbeat guy. I have many memories of growing up with Gordie...watching WWF, playing video games and lots of neighborhood sports. When we were older, we drove to high school together and had many good conversations and laughs in the car. He was a very good person and I was lucky that he lived up the street from me when we were kids. My sincerest condolences to the Maher and Hatch families.
