Condolence & Memory Journal

Richard was such a wonderful person. I went to Brockton High School with him in 1970. We sat together the desks were double rows we were in the front row in the middle of the class. I lost my mother that year on February 27 1970. I really believe he helped make my life bearable back then. . He always had a great smile!. He always looked so shiny and neat!! I remember he used to kind of snort when he laughed! I enjoyed every day we sat together in Mr Faherty's class. Strange thing is this year was our 50th reunion. I lost my husband 3 years ago after 46 years together but I thought I would love to go to see Richard to tell him how I appreciated how kind he always was to me. But now I find he's passed, to a better place I'm sure of that. I will never forget
Richard and I hope to see him again one day.... I am so sorry for all of his family. Please accept my condolences.

First of all I am so sorry to Richies family.
This is Frank Campo Rich's old time friend, the Foot Doctor.
My heart was so saddened when I heard the news.
I met Richie when I was 18. He was partners with Chris Roli, my old roommate from 1978.
Richie was the sweetest most gentle person I knew. He would do anything for anybody.
We were best of friends for years because he was the true definition of friendship.
When I moved to Chicago to go to school, Richie was there. Helping me all the way.
Richie was always there to help anyone in need. He was a living angel.
He along with Ginny and Bob, Debbie and John and Diane, Hopefully have a Heavenly Pub
going on up there, where all our friends and family are gathered.
My dear friend, you took a part of my heart with you.
I will love you for ever
Your Friend

To the Hill family & friends,

I was saddened to recently hear of Richie's passing. I, along with Frank Campo and others were close friends with Richie for many years. Richie and I traveled to PV Mexico on vacation, just he and I. Richie rode a horse in the mountains, (got saddle sores) and we went on a sunset sailing catermeran on the bay. He used to get up early (to smoke) and watch the fruit vendors unload
Watermelons, papaya and other stuff. The memories are strong since I found out about his passing while here in Mexico.

I knew him well, when his group of friends included Chris R.,Ted, Frank, Mike and others.
Rest in peace my friend.

Uncle Richie, I grew up with you when you lived with us. It always seemed you were always just around the corner. Now I guess you're just around yet another, different corner. I can't say what I know you'd appreciate and laugh about, it seems it's frowned upon on here, so I'll just say I will miss you always and you will fill in the blank I know you know I left out because I can hear you laughing right now. Behave, young man. Love you!

Too much time had passed between the last time I saw you and finding out you had passed away. I have and will continue to miss you dearly.

I will always remember Uncle Richie for his persistent kindness, great smile and his infectious laugh. My mother always had a smile on her face when he was around, and he cared for her while she was sick and as she passed. It is melancholy to think of how long it's been and never again will be; I'll miss him.

I will miss you so much Richard, you were always there for me! Thank you for being there when Bobby was so sick. We both loved you very much. Wish we saw more of each other but you were always in my heart and prayers and continue to be until we meet again! Love you, Richard always will!
