Condolence & Memory Journal

I was lucky enough to work with Theresa at Brookfield for several years in the 1990’s. She was a funny, caring , lovely lady. I remember her always being dressed as a professional and carrying herself with poise.

Mary Theresa Sweeney was a wonderful friend and neighbor and a Very Lovely lady who was very pretty and very nice and always very kind and a very good person. I always tried to help her with her errands every time she called I always said yes when she would call for me to go and do errands and I was happy I could help her. She enjoyed reading books and she would ask me to go pick up books for her in the Stoughton Library and go to the Stoughton cleaners for leaving her clothes to be cleaned or going to pick up her clothes and go to the supermarkets and do some grocery shopping for some items she needed. I don't know if she knew how very much I cared. I miss her very much and will always remember her with Love and I am a better person for knowing her. I am happy I knew her and she was my friend and neighbor. She was a very special and important person and everyone who knew her Loved her and was blessed to know her.

Gramma Theresa that's what I called her. I didn't meet her in person but I sure felt her presence on Facebook. She always had a sweet comment on my posts. My grand daughter Molleigh would always remind me to say God Bless Gramma Theresa in our prayers before bed. RIP! You will be sorely missed.

Theresa touched lives in so many ways. She was always that lovely lady at Mass dressed so stylishly and with impeccable taste. She had a way of connecting with you, even before she knew I went to St Mary's with Patty.
I was a Facebook friend with her - and she outwardly lived her faith and reminded us all that this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad!

I am sure there was rejoicing at heaven's gate welcoming you to your heavenly home.

The rest of us in our community will miss you.

Thank you Patty and Kathy for sharing your Mom with all of us. It was a joy to know her.

Theresa I know we just met last october, when we moved into capen. But we shared a lot of laughs and we shared some good times. They were short but sweet and I'm sure gonna miss them. I know you asked me to make you a chocolate cake for your 90th birthday when we moved back into capen. I'm still gonna do it to celebrate your life with God because he'll take care of you. You're friend from apt 303 we'll miss you very much, Gloria marco.

What a lovely tribute! Although I never met Theresa, I know her daughter and that relationship has showed me clearly who she was. Hugs to all of her family.
