To the entire Wade family, Condolences on Mr Wade's passing. Great courage and service to our country. I think Barbara (Miss Wade) then was my kindergarten teacher at the south school so many years ago.
Sincerely
William Statkiewicz

Charlie was a well respected member of our community. He was always a gentleman.Charlie devoted much of his time through the years leading many of the military organization in town furthering the cause of it's veterans. We enjoyed his many visits to the Stoughton Historical Society where he always had a joke and gave us new information about the town that he, and we , love so dearly. Joe and Jeanne DeVito

Since its inception many years ago Charlie was a fixture at the O'Donnell Middle School Veterans' Day program. I fondly remember the stories he would humbly tell the students about his service to our country. In 2018 Charlie received the O'Donnell Middle School Veteran of the Year Award for his contributions to our community. My condolences to the entire Wade family. What a wonderful life he lived!
