Condolence & Memory Journal

I so appreciated Andy's generous way of welcoming me into the family. At every family gathering I exprienced his humor, warmth and genuine interest in finding connection. I'll be forever grateful for his welcoming our son into the family as well, sharing his passion for baseball and introducing him to the Paw Sox. Sending my love and sorrow for your loss Laurie, Tim and Tori.

For as long as I knew him, I always looked up to my Uncle Andy. It's truly hard finding the right words right now. The last week has felt like a bad dream. For as long as I can remember it's been Laurie and Andy. I had the blessing of living with them while I was still a teenager. Back then it was just us and Higgins. I guess you could say I was the practice round of parenthood for them. Andy was the smartest person I knew, and I went to him when I had a question about literally anything. And he either knew the answer or he knew how to find out. He taught me everything I know about credit scores, and buying a used car. When I graduated high school I looked out and the only faces that I knew were Laurie and Andy's. Through the years, living distances apart, visiting them always felt like coming home. To say that they were just my aunt and uncle would be an understatement. They were so much more to me. I looked up to them, and Andy was like a father to me... I don't know how we will fill this incredible void in our lives but I know that in our hearts Andy's memory will ALWAYS live on with us. My continued prayers are with Laurie, Tim and Tori during this time. Andy did so much in his 59.9 years and I hope you can find comfort in knowing that of all those things, being a husband and father was the part he cherished the most ♥
Love you all

Although I did not know you all that well, you are the father of one of my best friends, Tim. I would see you at baseball games while I was growing up in stoughton, and not once did I not see a smile on your face while watching your son. You will forever be remembered by everyone in the SYB community along with many other people.

There are no words to describe the heart ache that we all are feeling with you gone. It has always been Uncle Andy and Auntie Laurie since I can remember and I feel like a huge part of our family is now gone.. I worry about Laurie, your kids, and wish I could be there to just hug them! I know the feeling of losing a father and it is one of the hardest things I still go through..I hope you know how much I loved you. I am going to miss every life lesson you would teach when I would see you! You are a legend to my family, and I hope you know how much you mean to all of us! May you rest in peace now and watch over all of us! Love you so much!
