We were co-workers for thirty years and friends for over fifty. We had two favorite past times. Arguing ideas and politics, and trying to stick one another with a restaurant bill. Al I will miss you more than I have words to say. So for now it's see ya in a while. And I'll play the B G's Stayin Alive to aggravate you one last time!! Love You, Friends Forever, Ed

Kellie, "heartbroken" doesn't even begin to describe how I feel for you at this most difficult time. You're Dad was such a nice, sweet man. I remember seeing him working on projects in your house years ago. Sending love and hugs. Condolences to you and your entire family.

Alan and I grew up together in Hyde Park and I was always fond of him. We haven't seen each other in years. We used to run into each other at State Democratic conventions bu that is way in the past.
I always respected Al. He was a good man.
