Condolence & Memory Journal

Very sad to hear of Dick’s passing. Dick helped me get hired at The Enterprise back in 1980, mostly, I think, because he knew I loved chasing news and to say that was his passion is an understatement. He was always first on the scene and he knew EVERYBODY!
His memory of people and events was astonishing and the stories could go on forever.
Over the thirty years of working together, we shared so much but it was always his love of his family that was at the top of the list.
Rest In Peace, Dick .

The best cheer leaders we have our entire lives are our parents, my heart is broken thinking of your loss, Bob and family, no one loves us like our parents. GOD needed another angel, he will forever be with you when you need his hand, with respect, Bonnie OHare (ex-concierge)

My father Dan Murphy of the old Boston Herald always talked fondly of Dick Fallon! They had a great crew and despite moving on to a new career my father always spoke glowingly of his time and friends at the Herald.
Your father among the finest! God bless you all!

I have fond memories of visiting Dick and my dad, Craig Murray, in the news room of the Enterprise. He would always ask if I could count my freckles and tell me that when I get older they will all run together.... and they did! I now tell my red head the same silly story.
