Obituary

Carl F. Crocetti, 62, passed away Sunday evening, May 1st after a short decline in health over the past year. Born on May 25th, 1953 he was the only son of the late Alfred and Valrie Crocetti of Stoughton and was a Stoughton resident during his entire lifetime.

Survived by son, Carlo and his wife Catherine, Carl immensely enjoyed his four grandchildren, Carlo, Julianna, Luca, and Ana Crocetti, providing him with many happy moments and memories he held close. His presence will be greatly missed by his grandchildren as well as his former wife, Betsy Dahl, their loving grandmother. He will always be remembered as a loving stepfather to George Polillio and Kelly Pederson who with their mother, Linda Ford, Carl's former wife, will miss him dearly.

Carl loved fast cars and fast boats, racing both successfully over the years. Collecting and restoring classic cars was his passion and pleasure as he grew older and he was noted amongst his peers as an avid buff of muscle cars from the sixties and seventies. If it went fast and was loud you could always count on seeing a smile upon his face.

C. Crocetti & Son, a family meat processing plant specializing in Italian sausage products has been in the Crocetti family since the 30's and Carl became the owner/president of this firm upon the passing of his father, Alfred Crocetti. The entire firm along with subsidiaries Oakdale Packing & South Shore Meats is now passed on to Carl's son, Carlo and his partner, Mike D'Andrea and will continue to provide the quality products the firms have built their reputations upon.

Carl's absence will be greatly missed by his surviving sister, Valrie Lewis and her husband Gordon of New Hampshire. They talked to Carl on a daily basis on a wide range of topics that caught his attention. His input, humor and outlook on life was always interesting and provided a unique perspective on life.

Mike D'Andrea, Carl's partner and best friend in their various business ventures will feel the loss of Carl's presence in their daily matters. A unique and successful alliance, the two combined to make a variety of closely related businesses run effectively over the past quarter century. This will surely continue as Carlo fills his dad's shoes and works side by side with Mike to ensure a continuation of the their business interests.

Lastly, but certainly not the least, is Carl's special friend, confidant and companion, Ann Marie Bonnano of Canton. They shared a very special relationship over the years and knew a deep love for one another during their years together.
Carl requested in lieu of flowers that people elect NOT to vote for Hillary Clinton in the presidential election in November.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, May 10 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 4-7 PM. Interment will be private.
